The San Diego Tourism Authority extends an invitation to all little explorers to enjoy Kids Free San Diego this October. During the month-long celebration, your little ones will be treated with free admission to attractions, meals on the house, and tons of other great perks throughout the city. With more than 100 offers and warm fall weather without summer crowds, big fun is in store for kids with savings that parents will love. Click here for the full list of offers. Highlights include:
- Kids 11 and under get free entrance to some of San Diego’s favorite attractions, including the San Diego Zoo, San Diego Zoo Safari Park, SeaWorld and Legoland. The offer is good with a paid adult admission.
- Fourteen museums located in Balboa Park offer free admission to children 12 and under all October long. Children have the chance to view a historic 1911 Ford Model T Speedster at the San Diego Automotive Museum and witness the Apollo IX Command Module at the Air & Space Museum for free. Other museums with free entry include the Museum of Photographic Arts, San Diego History Center, San Diego Model Railroad Museum and the San Diego Museum of Man among others. These museums provide an exciting and educational experience for both children and adults with the added perk of free entry for the kids.
- October 1 is the Pacific BeachFest! With its fish taco contest, surf competition, tents set up all along the boardwalk, and a number of kids’ activities, the Pacific BeachFest will entertain the whole family…not to mention it’s completely free!
- Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in October after 5 p.m., Belmont Park transforms into a Halloween themed amusement park. The BOOmont Park Fall Festival and Haunt will feature a number of activities for kids of all ages at this iconic beachfront park. For more information, click here.
