It’s Child Advocacy Month! This month is near and dear to us as an organization dedicated to building early care systems and supports for families and caregivers.
Our goal is to set families up for success so that their children are safe, healthy and ready for school and beyond. Here are some ways you can reflect this month:
- Do you have healthy habits in place for your day-to-day activities? Forming habits now can have a lifelong impact on your child’s health and wellbeing.
- Do you have a daytime and nighttime routine? It can be helpful for the whole family to know what to expect at certain points of the day—routines help regulate a child’s nervous system and cuts down on overall stress within the family.
- Do you talk, read and sing every day? These activities are not only fun, but they also help your child’s cognitive development.
