When children have a healthy start, there’s no limit to what they can achieve.

The Neighborhood House Association Head Start and Early Head Start programs help provide support to families and provide the developmental and educational support their children need to thrive. 

Early Head Start programming serves children six weeks to three years and supports pregnant and postpartum, low-income women. Services include:

  • Prenatal and parenting classes 
  • Individualized postpartum home visits
  • Individualized plans for children
  • Transition services for children moving onto preschool

The Head Start program serves children 3-5 years old and focuses on Kindergarten readiness skills. Services include:

  • Immunization, dental, medical and mental health support
  • Nutrition services
  • Early childhood education and school readiness programs
  • Workshops, training and support for parents
