The more that you read,

the more things you will know.
The more that you learn,
the more places you’ll go.

Building Bright Futures Through Words, Stories, and Songs

The Dr. Seuss Foundation and First 5 San Diego have partnered to bring you “Talk, Read, Sing with Dr. Seuss”—a campaign celebrating the magic of words, stories, and songs in early childhood development.

The Power of Talk, Read, Sing

Research shows that 90% of a child’s brain develops before age five. This critical window is where language, literacy, and social-emotional skills take root. Simple, playful interactions—talking, reading, and singing—help build a strong foundation for a child’s future success.
