Toasted Cheese Sandwiches

Ingredients:
  • Cheese
  • Butter
  • Bread
Directions:
  1. Heat a griddle or at pan on medium high heat
  2. Melt one tablespoon of butter on the pan when it’s heated
  3. Put a slice of bread on the pan, place slices of cheese on top and then another slice of bread
  4. Cook until golden brown and flip, cover the sandwich with pan lid to help the cheese melt
Tips: Add some veggies into the sandwich - try a fresh slice of heirloom tomato, or grilled/caramelized onions and mushrooms. Use quality ingredients: whole wheat and whole grain bread are the healthiest and when possible, use a better quality of cheese. Most local farmers’ markets carry healthy breads and cheeses.
