First 5 San Diego has a long and distinguished history of focusing investments to have a deep impact on the community, and this plan builds upon our successes in making a difference in the lives of young children over the past four years in San Diego County.
As a mom, I know how easy it is to get so wrapped up in tending to the needs of your family that you put taking care of yourself last. As we celebrate May as Mental Health Month and Mother’s Day on May 11, I encourage mothers and caregivers to make taking care of you a top priority.
